Attention Patients/Parents:
We have recently started sending patient education from previous office visits to the patient portal. This does not mean you/your child was seen for an appointment on the day you are receiving this information. If you have any questions, please call the office at 315-701-2129. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
POP WARNER-
As Pop Warner registration starts, we want to remind parents that any well child visit done in our office is good for 365 days. This means that we can sign off on any Pop Warner forms as long as the well child visit is current. Pop Warner simply needs us to sign it in this year of 2019. We are bringing this to your attention as we have heard from parents in the past that they went and paid for sports physicals elsewhere thinking it was necessary.
For example, if your child had a well child visit in November of 2018, we can sign the Pop Warner form dating it for the date we are now signing it. We have the form at the office already so you do not need to drop it off. Simply call and leave a message on the phone nurses line requesting the Pop Warner form.
Please call the office if you have any questions.
Well Child Visits for Children 19 and Over
Parents: Please be advised that when booking yearly well child physicals for children over the age of 19, you should call and check with your insurance company regarding coverage for this service. There have been recent contract changes with some of the plans and they are no longer covering those type of visits. This is only for commercial (thru employer) plans and does not apply to any Child Health Plus or Medicaid plans. Please contact our billing department if you have any questions.

Parent Advisory Group
The Parent Advisory Group is a committee consisting of parents whose child receives primary care from Summerwood Pediatrics at either the Liverpool or Camillus office sites. The mission of this group is to create an environment that encourages positive exchange of ideas and communications which fosters child and family oriented care and values.
We believe this is best achieved through families and professionals working together to meet the needs of the children across the ages. The Parent Advisory Council will meet at least twice a year for an hour. More frequent meetings may occur as issues arise. If you are interested in being involved with this group, please email [email protected]. We will keep your contact information until it is needed. Thank you for your time and consideration.
